FAQs

How are services paid for?

Therapy services are paid for privately.  Many workplace insurance plans and health spending accounts cover Speech-Language Therapy so check your specific plan for coverage.  Fees may be tax deductible under medical expenses by Revenue Canada.  Fees are paid at each session by e-transfer.  Receipts are provided after sessions to be used for reimbursements and deductions.

Do I need a referral?

No, anyone can self-refer.

Do you have evening and weekend appointments?

My availability varies.  Please contact me to see if I may have space during your preferred time.

Do you do home visits?

I love seeing clients in the comfort of their own home or out in the community.  This gives me a full picture of how their communication skills are working for them.
